It is my pleasure to welcome all of you to the faculty of Computer and Information Technology (CIT) at Jamhuriya University of science and technology (JUST). It is a privilege to represent more than 100 lecturers and faculty staff members that serve our students through research, teaching, and support services.
The faculty of computer and information technology are committed to lifelong learning, the integration of research and teaching, and professional computer developers who work in multidisciplinary teams. Our graduates are highly hunted by major corporations in Somalia because of the strength of innovation and entrepreneurship implanted in them by their instructors.
The faculty of computer and IT aims to be one of the top research and teaching programs in computing and informatics in the country, with leadership and recognition in designated focus areas.
The mission of the faculty of computer and IT is to develop, distribute, and apply knowledge in computing and informatics, including in interdisciplinary areas that benefit people and society. It also aims to educate students from a variety of backgrounds to become successful, social, and effective problem-solvers and competent leaders who will benefit our university, state, country, and the world.
Our community is built on the idea that education can transform lives and communities. We offer a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals to continue learning and developing throughout their lives.
